The 25-year-old Andrade of Brazil punished former ONE bantamweight king John Lineker in the main event of ONE Fight Night 7 at the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on weekend.

The 27-year-old Loman was among the first to congratulate the newly-crowned MMA champion, as he also asked fight fans if they want to witness a championship bout between him and the Brazilian.

This was after Adrade’s first call-out shortly after winning the belt was Loman.

“Loman, you want this? Come get it,” Andrade said in a post-fight interview.

For Filipino fans, they want a Loman-Andrade championship bout and are one in saying the Igorot fighter will bring home the belt.

Even MMA fans outside the Philippines are rooting for Loman to win the belt, as he has more world championship fights experience than Andrade.

Loman currently holds an MMA record of 17 wins against two losses, and was a former five-time world champion in the Dubai-based Brave Combat Federation before he signed with the Singapore-based ONE Championship.

Loman held the Brave bantamweight world belt for more than 1,000 days, the longest in the history of the promotion.

The Team Lakay fighter is undefeated in his three fights in ONE, including his stellar performance against former long-time world champion Bibiano Fernandez.

Andrade, meanwhile, has delivered a strong message to Team Lakay when he stopped Jeremy Pacatiw in their fight in February 2022. He also defeated two fighters who defeated former ONE bantamweight world champion Kevin Belingon. – Harley F. Palangchao
