BANGUED, Abra – Pag-IBIG Vigan brought its Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels (LPOW) to Abra to serve those who were affected by the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that hit Luzon on July 27.

Through the initiative of Pag-IBIG Vigan Head Martito T. Dalope, the office provided various services that include acceptance of application for calamity loan, member registration, availment of loyalty cards, reactivation service, and inquiries.

Pag-IBIG Marketing Officer Vine Lozano Mercado-Miana said Abra residents need not go to Vigan to avail of their services.

“We started delivering our services on July 28, through the LPOW to cater to the needs of the residents, especially those who apply for calamity loan,” Miana said.

So far 195 application forms for calamity loan; 282 Loyalty Card Plus enrollments; 177 membership registration; and 1,324 inquiries were received through the LPOW.

“We invite members and non-members of the Pag-IBIG Fund to avail of our services made available in our Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels,” Miana said.

The LPOW is stationed in front of the Capitol. Miana said their office has a service reference desk where the public inquire about the programs and services of Pag-IBIG. – Christian Allister Tubadeza
