The City Treasury Office issued an advisory that payment of Community Tax Certificate (CTC) or cedula and other fees will be in the barangays beginning Jan. 2, 2024 in an aim to bring government services closer to the community.

To save time and cut long queues at the One-Stop-Shop at City Hall, Baguio residents will pay their cedula in their respective barangays including professional tax receipt, payment for police clearance both for local and abroad, payment for working permit, and residential garbage fees.

For business owners however, the cedula shall be secured at City Hall as the same shall be paid together with the corresponding business permit.

“It is respectfully requested from those who shall be securing their cedula from their respective barangays to be responsible enough to declare their true gross receipts for year 2023 as the basis for payment. We shall employ all efforts/actions against those who will be found to have intentionally misdeclared their gross receipts,” City Treasurer Alex Cabarrubias said in the advisory.

For the Real Property Tax (RPT), bill/statement is now available online via the Baguio In My Pocket (BIMP) application at www.baguioinmypocket.ph.

Payees must register first to the BIMP application and follow the detailed instructions on how to request for Real Property Tax assessment.

Meanwhile, assessment for 2024 business permit renewal will be online starting Jan. 2, 2024 through the BIMP application.

Alternatively, business permit assessment and real property tax assessments may be downloaded from the eBPLS Portal at www.ebpls.baguio.gov.ph.

Business tax assessment and RPT statement shall no longer be issued at City Hall since assessment fees will be secured mandatory online beginning Jan. 2, 2024.

“Only those that have issues, hence cannot be secured online (or appear as No Record Found), shall be entertained at the Treasury Office,” the advisory reads.

To avoid crowding at the City Hall One-Stop-Shop, assessment and payment of business permit shall be strictly in accordance with the following schedule by family or corporate name starting: January – A to H, February – I to P, and March 20 – Q to Z and those that start with numeric or special characters. – Jess Mardy P.
