The newly created League of Tublay Darters Association (LTDA) will host its first regional darts tournament in Tublay, Benguet next month in line with the week-long Siged Festival ce-lebration of the municipality. 

After its recent affiliation with the National Darts Fe-deration of the Phi-lippines (NDFP), the LTDA invites darter enthusiasts to join the event starting Dec. 1 at the Tublay municipal closed gym, as hundreds of participants from the different municipalities and regions in Northern and Central Luzon, including Metro Manila, have confirmed their support to participate in the seven lined-up events.

A total of P125,000 is at stake for the winners of the seven events that kicks off on Dec. 1 with the golden singles and classified draw doubles.

Events for Dec. 2 are fixed four-person team and classified draw triples while the youth singles, ladies singles, and open singles are set on Dec. 3.

Organizers said the event is not only for camaraderie fellowship among dart players but also as a venue to level up the aspiring individuals to heighten their passion for darts. It will also pave its way to encourages amateur players among far flung areas in the municipality and regions to showcase their potentials in this kind of game.  

The LTDA headed by Stephen Tobanes thanked the Baguio-Benguet darters clubs and organization for supporting the event sanctioned by National Darts Federation of the Philippines with Robson Razor Bladewire as the official dartboard. – Shane Awacan
