TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The city government is offering 252 slots for the Special Program on Employment of Students (SPES) this year.

Public Employment Service Officer Loyda Saboy said hiring is open until April 28 for grades 12 up to third year college students with at least 85 percent average grade, between 18 to 30 years old, and whose family annual income is below the P169,824 poverty threshold.

Applicants with employed parents should bring copy of parent’s income tax return or barangay certification showing they are indigent.

Applicants must bring copy of the first semester grades as proof that they are currently enrolled.

The city PESO accepts applications from Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those hired shall render 20 days of summer work from June to August with a P402 daily wage. – Larry Lopez
