The celebration of the “1st International Food Festival 2019” on Oct. 27 at Malcolm Square featuring international and local cuisine was a resounding success.

Indeed there was a smorgasbord of international and local cuisine. Enlivened by international music, face painting, artistic banners, and participants in their traditional attires, the event sponsored by the BGH Advisory Board and BGHMC in partnership with the city government of Baguio was for the benefit of indigent patient’s coming from Baguio, Cordillera and regions 1 and 2.
This is to support some of their after-treatment medicines. The BGH Advisory Board headed by Ram Sharma was ably assisted by the officers and members of the board and plenty of kind hearted souls and volunteers with the same goal in mind – to raise funds for the medicinal needs of indigent patients and make the event festive. It was a one of a kind event made successful because of the community’s wholehearted support. I should say, this was coming from the heart. Congratulations to all.
