Team Lakay fighter Carlo “The Bull” Bumina-ang has been called anew to fight inside the ONE circle against the formidable Chayan Oorzhak of Mongolia in the undercard of ONE Friday Fight 65 in Bangkok, Thailand on May 31.

The fight between the two rising fighters is ongoing when the Midland Courier went to the press.

Bumina-ang made his presence felt in ONE Championship for his explosive performances in his last four outings.

Three of his four wins in the biggest martial arts promotion in Asia came by way of stoppage.

In his last fight against Zhipeng Xie of China in February this year, Bumina-ang won a $10,000 performance bonus for a first-round victory against his opponent.

He wasted no time, as he stunned his Chinese opponent with a powerful right hook that sent him to the mat within seconds of the match starting.

He pinned Xie down delivering ground and pound before transitioning to mount and securing the arm-triangle submission.

The helpless Chinese opponent didn’t even have the chance to tap out before succumbing to sleep.

His Mongolian opponent is also undefeated under ONE promotion, having secured three victories by way of knockout, stoppage, and unanimous decision.

The 32-year-old Mongolian now has eight wins against two losses in his professional MMA career.

He will enter the circle with a reach and height advantage at 5’6” while Bumina-ang stands at 5’5”.
