UNDAUNTED — Suspended Bureau of Corrections Director General Gerald Bantag joined his supporters who initiated a peace rally in Baguio City on Dec. 9 to show their support to him as he is accused of being the brains behind the killing of broadcaster Percy Lapid on Oct. 3 in Las Piñas City. Through his legal team led by lawyer Rocky Balisong, Bantag has filed a motion for inhibition against the Department of Justice due to alleged bias by DOJ Sec. Boying Remulla towards him, adding the Justice department has no jurisdiction over his case since the issue is under the Office of the Ombudsman. — Harley Palangchao
