LAGAWE, Ifugao – A village official in Asipulo expressed support and gratitude to the delivered programs and services of the government that benefit the people of the barangay.
Namal Punong Barangay Grace Tayaban said the community is now feeling the gains of the programs under President Rodrigo Duterte implemented by various line agencies and provincial and local government units.
“These projects include the improvement of our water system and roads through the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and other developments funded under the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan and the Kapit-bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services,” she said.
The Department of Labor and Employment also provided cash for work that gave job opportunities to the beneficiaries that addressed some of their daily needs, Tayaban said.
Medium, small, and micro entrepreneurs and persons with disability were also provided livelihood kits through the Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay of the Department of Trade and Industry. – Marcelo B. Lihgawon
