Sixty participants from various government offices and agencies joined the 2021 Benguet Employees Adivay Darts Encounter.
Provincial Sports Coordinator Dean Mark Monang said the event, in partnership with the Benguet Employees Darts group, aimed to promote the health and wellness program of the province for government personnel.
Amor Parista of the Department of Education-Kapangan topped the men’s singles followed by Danny Anas, June Cariño, and Ralph Levan Velasco.
Laylanie Begawen of Kapangan was the champion in the women singles category followed by Leslie Mae Jaimel, Quindoline Wakit, and Doreen Matias.
The blind doubles champions were Kurt Panagan of DepEd and Jefferson Sholin of the provincial government followed by the teams of Miki Bistid and Kipler Baligsa, John Dolinas and Jonathan Alvaro, and Martin Garcia and Ralph Levan Velasco.
Monang said part of the registration fees raised from the event went to a provincial employee with a medical condition.
All participants received cash prizes from the provincial government.
He said the earlier slated inter-LGU Adivay darts competition was only for the LGU employees but the latest event was open to all provincial government employees. – Ofelia C. Empian
