A female darter from Tuba, Benguet brought home the top prize in the National Darts Tournament held at the Capitol, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay on Feb. 24 to 26.

Giselle Bulahao emerged as champion in the ladies’ singles category beating National Darts Federation of the Philippines (NDFP) top seed Ging Ansale of Team Pacman/GMD, 4-0, du-ring the seven-series championship game. 

NATIONAL DARTS CHAMPS — Giselle Bulahao of Tuba, Benguet ruled the ladies’ singles event of the P500,000 National Darts Tournament organized by the National Darts Federation of the Philippines, besting other lady darters in the country. Bulahao also won in the three-man team category with Mindanaoans Eduardo Largo and Ceasar Pausal in the tournament held in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. — Contributed photo

Bulahao of team R@x Brotherhood Benguet led 18 other lady darters during the event organized by the NDFP where she received a trophy and P16,000 cash prize.

She also teamed up with Eduardo Largo and Ceasar Pausal from Mindanao where the trio won in the classified draw triplets category besting 261 players.

Bulahao previously placed third in the ladies singles of the Panagbenga Festival National Darts Tournament on Feb. 17 to 19 at PFVR gym. She also ruled the first regional darts tournament of Cordillera Lady Darters Club held in Baguio City on Aug. 20 to 21, 2022.

Other winners in the ladies’ category were Febbie Kates Bayron and Janjan Hinojales in third and fourth place; Juvy Gayoso, Apple Lubaton, Nikkie Quintana, and Royda Flores in fifth and eighth place.

Second place in the classified draw triplets were Alex Tagarao, Jhon Mike Ballano, and Jummel Rillera; third placers were Noel Malicdem, Janjan Hinojales, and Richard Carreon while on fourth place were Joel Hizon, Cholo Tolentino, and Christian Pacaña.
