The registration in this year’s staging of the Sub Baguio marathon on June 30 is extended until July 15.

Running enthusiasts are set to converge at the Baguio Country Club, which will be the start and finish of the event.

The event features 21-kilometer and 10-km. runs, as well as side events for five-km. and three-km. for all ages.

One of the Sub Baguio Marathon organizers, Team Malaya, said the event encourages runners to break their personal running record before the year ends.

From the BCC starting point, participants will go through South Drive, where three-km. runners will make a U-turn, while those joining the five-km. will make a U-turn at the Panagbenga Park.

The remaining participants will turn left to Loakan Road where the 10-km. runners will make a U-turn at Lower Scout Barrio.

The 21-km. runners will head straight to the Philippine Military Academy Road in Kias then will make a U-turn at the gasoline station in Kias to head back, following the same route to the BCC finish line. 

Registration fee for the 21-km. is P2,250 while the 10-km. is P1,950 with race kits including timing chips bib, full sublimation singlet, full sublimation finisher’s shirt, finisher’s medal, raffle, and snacks.

The five-km. and three-km, meanwhile, are pegged at P1,250 including race bib, singlet, medal, raffle, snacks with no cut off time.  

Prizes await the top three male and female 21-km. and 10-km., top winners for the 12 years old and below, 13 to 17 years old, 18 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, and 50 years old and above.

Awards will also be given to the biggest delegation and oldest and youngest runners.
