There was revelry at the city’s central business district when the University of the Cordilleras community celebrated the 8th CordeMayo (Cordilleran Festival in May) as part of this year’s celebration of the National Heritage Month. The inclement weather did not dampen the spirit of UC officials, faculty members, students, and esteemed guests as the beat of the gongs and bands rhythmically struck and echoed throughout the city’s main thoroughfares.
