Energy company SN Aboitiz Power Group brought joy to over 1,700 students in Benguet, Isabela, and Ifugao through its annual gift-giving drive.

The first leg of the tradition was held in Alfonso Lista, Ifugao, where 334 students from Sto. Domingo Elementary School and Sto. Domingo ESannex received lunch boxes on Dec. 5. The drive was led by Asst. Vice President/Site Manager Willy Ferrer.

On Dec. 10, 750 students from the General Aguinaldo ES in Ramon, Isabela enjoyed the same gifts. Ambatali ES, only on its second year as host community of SNAP, also received lunch boxes for its 430 students on the same day. Both visits in Ramon were led by Operations Sr. Manager Ed Bundalian.

SNAP management’s visit to Ambuklao ES in Bokod, Benguet was headed by President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Yu on Dec. 26.

A total of 130 students and 10 teachers, most of whom reside far from the school, received the same lunch box packages.

To everyone’s delight, the students expressed their gratitude to SNAP by rendering a Christmas song.

Now on its fifth year, SNAP’s Tsinelas Project also drew smiles from the 104 students of General Aguinaldo ES-annex in Isla Verde, Ramon on Dec. 13.

Besides the lunch boxes, the children also received chocolates and slippers funded by the employees themselves. The visit was led by Ed Bundalian, the project’s initiator. – Press release
