Students from La Trinidad, Benguet showcased their skills in interpreting the theme: “La Trinidad: The Strawberry Capital of the Philippines (Sirom ni Du-ting)” at the art in the park competition on March 12, as part of the month-long Strawberry Festival.
Together with the students are local artists including mixed martial artist-turned visual artist Harold Banario, who demonstrated his own interpretation of the festival’s theme during the one-day event. Banario also served as an inspiration to the younger generation of locally-grown artists to pursue their passion in the arts and make it into a livelihood.
